Swedish visit to the Frank Wise School

To coincide with the ever growing population of foreign educational visitors descending on London during BETT week, Maureen and Louise plan a series of ...

... educational visits to innovative and inspiring schools across the UK. This picture, which Sarah took as she accompanied 8 Swedish delegates on one such visit to the Frank Wise School in Banbury, Oxfordshire, is of four sixth form students from the Griffiths Centre who gave a presentation on how they use technology in their studies.

This school, where technology is embedded throughout every aspect of the operational and strategic work, certainly is inspiring - from monitoring energy output within the school buildings to a state of the art animation studio. Their purpose, "To educate, motivate and celebrate children with special needs by providing quality and equality in quantity" pervades everything we saw. Thank you Frank Wise staff and students for sharing your practice and vision with us all.
