Earthquake hits Core Education NZIt has been less than six months since a major earthquake hit our colleagues in Christchurch, New Zealand and then at lunch time yesterday, another large quake, measuring at 6.3 magnitude struck again, this time causing massive devastation leaving, at the last count, 65 dead and 100’s trapped in buildings. Having texted with our New Zealand colleagues, it seems that some of the Christchurch staff were out of town in Rotorua for the Learning@School conference and of those left in the Chirstchurch office on Kilmore Street, they are shaken, but OK. Our prayers go out to their families, other Core Education staff and all those who are in Christchurch, as they face the aftershocks and the trauma of the coming days.
