Transformer Courses
Our Transformer Courses are designed to support the individual in their role. The learning is flexible, not rigid; collaborative, not isolated; contextual, not abstract. We provide the framework, with the needs of you - the participants - shaping the nature of the workshop discussions based on your learning needs. You will be encouraged to engage in dialogue and creatively explore to empower you and your organisation.

Online Facilitation Course
- Course Duration: 5 weeks (recommended time commitment is 3-4 hours per week).
- Course Requirements: Access to the internet, basic competence using online technology and motivation to actively take part.

All you need to know to become a facilitator of online communities, networks and groups.
Through structured activities and reflective exercises, you will develop your understanding of the varied nature of collaborative online spaces and how you can enhance your facilitative skills to make them successful for your context. With a new topic each week, we will guide you in your practice as you learn about new techniques, experiment with new ideas and involve yourself in online discussions with peers about the fundamentals of online collaboration. The course employs continual assessment format, not an end of programme test end you will be awarded a certificate of completion.
Your learning facilitators model good practice for you based on their experiences as both educationalists and in creating and supporting some of the biggest and most successful online environments.
The Patchwork Course - innovation in assessment

A course which invites you to experience at first hand the techniques of assessment based on the 'patchwork text' concept invented by Professor Richard Winter and developed by expert practitioners in the Core Education UK team.
Women in Management Course

This course targets women in middle management who are wanting to grow their leadership skills in order to attain senior positions. This course is not 'separatist' but recognises the unique problems that women may often face in seeking promotion. The course aims to explore ways of thinking about ourselves as learners and leaders, to identify long term career goals and break these into manageable steps, to develop skills in mapping out a development plan in a sequential manner and to build networks with other women who value leading in ethical, empathetic ways.

This course takes the participant on a journey of transformational learning. It aims to equip the life long learner with process tools such as Action Inquiry and Reflective Practice which, through collaboration with others and within one's own context will enable the learner to transform their working lives.
